The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funds the AKT IRC, a six-year, £7.5 million pound interdisciplinary research collaboration between internationally recognised research groups at the Universities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Southampton and the Open University.
