  • AKTive Futures Horizon Scanning Web Application
    This web based application was designed to replace the existing ontology viewer for use in the AKTive Futures Demo. In addition to just this, the system also allows the user to simply add triples to the database or remove the ones they have inserted.

  • Ontology Graph-Querying Service
    Provides graph querying facility using JUNG. Graph queries (such as Betweenness, Shortest Path, Centrality, etc) are difficult to handle using current Semantic Web libraries such as Jena, Protégé OWL API, etc. Querying ontologies with JUNG could help sorting out this problem.

  • Convert CIA Factbook to RDF
    Turns the CIA World Factbook into RDF that is more machine-readable.

  • Mspace
    MSpace is an interaction model and software framework to help people access and explore information.

  • Virology AKTive Space
    Virology AKTive Space  is an integrated Semantic Web application which provides a way to explore the UK Virology Research domain. This project was aimed at generalizing the concept of AKTive Space and creating an AKTive Space for Viruses.

  • Photo Annotation
    A prototype system which demonstrates the benefits of applying semantically rich service descriptions (expressed using Semantic Web technologies) to Web Services.

  • Joyce
    The project was approached for help locating alumni from ECS.

  • Benchmarking of RDF Triplestores
    This report details the work done on the benchmarking of RDF triplestores.

  • Harvest information from Online Auctions (in progress)
    Harvest information from online auctions against a small ontology that represents this domain. The purpose of this work was to build a sizable knowledge base of such data to be used as a test bed for research on trust.

  • Coreference Identifier
    Developed an ontology and framework for the exploration and resolution of potential co-references.
