The summer student was given the task of data gathering and "cleansing" for immediate use in the e-Response Scenario.

Installation and familiarisation of the Kobe Simulator, which is the used to drive AKT's e-Response demonstration.

Developed a plug-in for Compendium to enable direct access to CROSI Mapping System, this again was need for demonstration purposes. Customised the CROSI API for e-Response use (scenario specific invocations). Provided documentation and support for fellow AKTors working on the Compendium/CROSI link.

KA and domain exploration for building pathology, civil engineering, and structural engineering. Ben helped in the acquisition of domain knowledge to aid the development of a number of core ontologies.

Developed a SPARQL interface for CROSI to enable querying and assertion of data to e-Response's 3store.

Ben also undertook targeted data gathering for immediate use by the /OntoCoPi/ tool (civil engineers).
