What's the Problem?Tools that allow users to contribute RDF statements to the Semantic Web are widespread, however many require specialist knowledge and are thus not usable by lay-people, limiting the extent to which this group of users can participate in the Semantic Web. Towards a SolutionRevyu allows users without specialist Semantic Web-related skills to create reviews and ratings of anything they choose, by completing web forms through their browser. These are then published in crawlable RDF/XML and via a SPARQL endpoint, allowing other Semantic Web applications to reuse this data. Revyu is built on RAP, the RDF API for PHP, from the Freie Universität Berlin Semantic representationAlso available in DOAP (Description Of A Project) |
